This is the North American Broad-billed Hummingbird (Cynanthus latirostris) found in Arizona, New Mexico, west Texas and Mexico. This is a very intricate piece of work with numerous small sections for the wings to represent the feathers, hence the higher price. This little bird was originally made to order as a specific request from a client, and included in this range later.
