The Green Woodpecker (Picus viridis) was traditionally a forest species but has adapted to more open terrain with trees.  It is difficult to observe because of it's shy nature but can be observed occasionally in country gardens.  This male green woodpecker has been made to scale and can be hung on the side of a wooden bird table or tree trunk as well as in any window indoors.  This is the largest bird product in the range at present.
